Obey x Cope2 Collaboration

For Autumn / Winter 203, Obey have teamed up with one of New York City's most prolific graffiti artists, Cope2.

Born in 1968, New York City native Cope2's paintings have been exhibited in solo and group exhibitions in galleries and auctions around the world.

He began tagging his name in 1978 and developed his style in the subways and streets of the Bronx throughout the 80's and 90's.

The latest delivery from Obey includes some of the key pieces from the Cope2 Collaboration including the Poster T-Shirt (above), Beanie (below) and Subway Photo (bottom).

TheĀ Poster T-Shirt features the artwork of both Cope & Shepard that they worked on together in the Bronx.

Using Cope's iconic bubble style that has been seen on the streets for so many years, he recreated the Obey logo for this collaboration and added it to a simple black beanie.

Finally the Subway T-Shirt makes use on an elevated subway shot from the archives featuring the tags of both Shepard Fairey and Cope2.
