Taking inspiration from classic workwear pieces from the Carhartt archives and recreating them in up to date colourways and fabrics for Spring / Summer 2013.
The Rey Coat (above) is a reworking of the iconic Carhartt Chore coat, given a heritage makeover with a suede chest insert and top collar. Crafted from a 9.9oz cotton canvas, this unlined jacket features branded silver buttons, Heritage branding on the chest pocket and triple stitched seams for extra strength and durability. Built to last.
The Dozier Bomber is one of our favourite pieces from the Carhartt Heritage collection. We've seen the 'Norwegian' chest embroidery appear on various workwear pieces over the years but never thought it would make a return to prominence. The bomber jacket once only worn by the workers of Detroit, Michigan is back for 2013 in dark navy cotton canvas with white chest, sleeve and back design.
One of the more simple pieces included in the Heritage collection this season is the Berry Sweat. An unbrushed crew neck sweater in a dark navy heather with flatlock stitching design and reinforced air vents under the arms.
